Adam Dunnett & Sean O’Sullivan Appointed Tax Directors

In one of its largest rounds of promotions to date, Fitzgerald & Law (F&L) recently appointed both Adam Dunnett and Sean O’Sullivan as Tax Directors.

Joining as graduates ten years ago, the pair have gone on to excel in their time with the firm. Adam will focus on supporting fintech companies expanding outside of North America alongside advising on general taxation matters, and clients will continue to benefit from Sean's technical VAT specialism in their new roles.

“As young graduates who joined F&L's tax team within six months of each other, Sean's and Adam's names were accidentally used interchangeably for much of their first 18 months with the firm. Ten years on, we are privileged to have retained both of them, though each has developed their own niche,” said Tax Partner, Melissa Christopher. “Adam spent 16 months in our San Francisco office, supporting existing clients and advising those yet to expand outside of North America. While he maintains his tax advisory hat, he also helps clients take their first steps into Europe, with a particular focus on advising fintechs.”

Fellow Tax Partner, Jamie Richardson added: “Post qualification, Sean quickly developed a specialism in VAT, and has become the “go to” expert in indirect tax matters. His client workload is phenomenal, and he takes responsibility for much of the back office work for the department. Both individuals have shown themselves to be great leaders and these appointments are thoroughly deserved.”
