The proposed changes to using contractors in the UK have been postponed.
Late on 17th March, Chief Treasury Secretary, Steve Barclay announced that the IR35 tax reforms, designed to clamp down on perceived tax avoidance by targeting contractors, will be delayed as the Treasury looks to protect the economy from the coronavirus outbreak. The announcement means that the measures will no longer be rolled out this April but have been pushed back to April 2021.
