Management Accountant – AAT Qualified

We are looking for a highly motivated and talented individual to join our award winning and growing International Financial Outsourcing team as a Management Accountant.

We have a particular focus on the international tech sector and advise some of the most exciting and fastest growing companies in the world.

This role will be dedicated to performing day to day accounting and reporting operations for those companies, so you will need strong experience in preparing full monthly management accounts and working to strict monthly reporting deadlines.

What we would like from you:

  • Strong experience in preparing full monthly management accounts within practice
  • AAT qualified (or ACCA PQ) with at least 2 years of practical experience
  • Excellent IT skills and strong accounting system experience
  • Ability to manage own tasks, good time management and able to work to tight deadlines
  • Good understanding of VAT reporting requirements
  • Very strong communication skills, an engaging personality and confidence when dealing with clients

Some of the key responsibilities:

  • Control of a portfolio of clients
  • Preparation of monthly journals including but not limited to, comprehensive multi territory and departmental salary journals, prepayments, accruals and depreciation
  • Preparation of accurate departmental monthly financial reporting packs
  • Preparation of compliant VAT returns
  • Delegating tasks to Financial Administrators with full review of their work
  • Review of payment runs
  • Maintaining excellent relations with clients, acting as a key point of contact
  • Understanding client contracts, ensuring a thorough understanding of the contracted scope of work

Senior Management Accountant (Qualified ACA / ACCA)

You will need to be a fully qualified Accountant with a practice background and have strong experience in reviewing full monthly management accounts.

We have a particular focus on the international tech sector and advise some of the most exciting and fastest growing companies in the world, as well as a number of dynamic entrepreneurs and thriving private businesses. We therefore need people with engaging personalities as well as great skills.

  • Thorough understanding of comprehensive VAT reporting requirements – imports, sales and purchases of EC goods and services

  • Good time management and able to work to tight deadlines
  • Very strong communication skills and confidence
  • An analytical approach with good attention to detail

  • Review of payment runs and online BACs payment submissions
  • Liaising with teams across the firm together with international local service providers
  • WIP and billing control; understanding client contracts
  • Identifying and implementing enhancements

International Employee Benefits & HR Co-ordinator (client-facing)

Due to fast growth and expanding client work, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our International Payroll & HR team. This is an exciting new role working with our international clients to assist with the co-ordination of their employee benefits, employee communications and HR matters.

Prior experience in employee benefits, employee reward or HR at Administrator Level is needed.

Full study support is provided for a professional CIPD qualification after successful completion of 12 months.

You will gain an in-depth knowledge of international benefits and HR issues as your career progresses. You will work as part of this growing and sociable team of 18, working on a variety of interesting clients with real career progression opportunities.

What are some of the key responsibilities?

Benefits

  • Managing the clients’ benefits providers in each country – contracts, terms and renewals
  • First point of contact for clients and their employees – queries, claims and cover
  • Onboarding and offboarding employees and managing other employee life events
  • Managing the data for clients on HR software
  • Keeping up to date with changes in benefits and HR legislation
  • Preparation of employee communications relating to coverage and claims
  • Liaison between the client, employee, benefit providers and payroll
  • Management of monthly client invoicing process

HR General

  • Preparing HR related documents / offer letters / contracts / disciplinary letters / termination letters / maternity / paternity
  • Answering any queries from the client on areas such as sickness / holiday
  • Preparing the information for employees on leaving – calculating holidays owing, preparing leavers packs etc.
  • Supporting the HR team with advisory work, research, meeting notes and proposals
  • Management of monthly client invoicing process

What are the essential requirements?

  • Prior experience in employee benefits, reward or HR at Administrator Level. International benefits experience would be a significant advantage but is not essential.
  • GCSE Maths and English at grade B or above
  • A level at grade C or above
  • Genuinely friendly and sociable team player
  • Willing to join a hardworking team and get involved in a variety of work
  • Ability to manage own tasks, good timekeeping and able to work under pressure to tight deadlines

  • Good communications skills both verbal and written English
